Example plan

3 nights in Las Vegas

Thursday, October 29 to Sunday, November 1 · a couple · youngest 40

This is a sample for a couple around 40 who asked for rooftops, good music, great food, a mature crowd and some gambling, but nothing too clubby. Change the form to make it yours.

Check before you go: every place here was verified in September 2026, but hours, show dates, prices and dress codes change. Confirm with the venue and book directly. Times in the calendar file are placeholders.

Day 1: Thursday, October 29

Arrival evening · tonight: Center Strip

  1. Dinner

    The Mayfair Supper Club

    Bellagio, Center Strip

    • $$$$
    • Lively
    • Reserve ahead

Book a table for the later seating on a Friday or Saturday if you want the room at full swing. · Dress: Dress up: jackets and cocktail dresses fit right in

A theatrical supper club facing the Bellagio fountains, with a 360-degree stage that rises and lowers during dinner. Performers move through the room as the courses arrive, so it is dinner and a show in one seat.

  2. Evening

    Petrossian Bar

    Bellagio lobby, Center Strip

    • $$$
    • Calm
    • Reserve or walk in

The Bellagio lobby bar under Dale Chihuly's glass ceiling, with pianists on a Steinway grand, caviar on the menu and afternoon tea earlier in the day. One of the few places on the Strip where you can actually talk.

Day 2: Friday, October 30

Full day · tonight: North Strip & Sahara

  1. Daytime

The Underground at The Mob Museum

    Mob Museum basement, Downtown

    • $$
    • Calm
    • Walk-in

A working Prohibition-era speakeasy and moonshine distillery in the museum's basement, with silent films over the bar and jazz bands on weekends. Pair it with the museum upstairs.

  2. Dinner

    Delilah

    Wynn Las Vegas

    • $$$$
    • Lively
    • Reserve ahead

Reservations are hard; book far ahead or ask the Wynn concierge. · Dress: Upscale: collared shirts; no athletic wear, shorts or flip-flops

Wynn's modern supper club: an old-Hollywood room with a live band and singers through dinner. It is a see-and-be-seen evening with a strict no-photo policy.

  3. Evening

    Juliet Cocktail Room

    The Venetian

    • $$$
    • Lively
    • Walk-in

Go in the early evening for the pianos; stay later only if you want a DJ.

The dark, Victorian-styled lounge that replaced The Dorsey, with dueling baby grand pianos playing requests across the decades. DJs take over later in the night.

  4. Late

    Wynn & Encore casino

    Wynn Las Vegas

    • $$$
    • Lively
    • Walk-in

Plush, flower-filled casinos with higher table minimums and a quieter, older crowd than the mid-Strip resorts. A good place to play a few hands after dinner at Delilah.

Day 3: Saturday, October 31

Full day · tonight: Center Strip

  1. Daytime

    Esther's Kitchen

    Arts District (S Main St)

    • $$
    • Lively
    • Reserve ahead

Chef James Trees' seasonal Italian restaurant: sourdough, house pasta and wood-fired pizza around a big U-shaped bar. The Arts District's best table, with weekend brunch too.

  2. Dinner

    Eiffel Tower Restaurant

    Paris Las Vegas, Center Strip

    • $$$$
    • Calm
    • Reserve ahead

Ask for a window table when you book and time dinner for sunset. · Dress: Smart; this is a special-occasion room

French fine dining on the 11th floor of the Paris hotel's tower, with window tables looking straight down on the Bellagio fountains. A dependable anniversary pick.

  3. Evening

    Absinthe

    Spiegeltent, Caesars Palace

    • $$$
    • Lively
    • Tickets in advance
    • 18+

    18+ only

Racy comedy, circus and burlesque in a small tent on the Caesars Palace plaza. Acts happen inches away, and the host's humour is very adult: great fun if you like bawdy, skip it if you don't.

Day 4: Sunday, November 1

Before you leave

  1. Daytime

    The Mob Museum

    Former federal courthouse, Downtown

    • $$
    • Calm
    • Tickets in advance

The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, set in a historic downtown federal building. Thoughtful, well-made exhibits that are far better than the name suggests.

How the planner works

Real, checked places only

Every venue comes from our own researched list, checked against its official page or a reputable local source in September 2026. We don't invent venues, ratings or reviews.

Evenings that make sense on a map

Dinner, the evening stop and any nightcap are kept in the same neighbourhood or the one next door, so you walk or take one short ride, not three.

Your pace, your budget

"Early nights" skips loud, late rooms entirely; "Night owl" adds a late stop every night. DJ-driven lounges only appear if you say DJs are fine.
