True open-air rooftops are rarer in Las Vegas than you'd think; most of the great views come from lounges near the top of a tower. Here is every high-up spot we'd take a grown-up friend to, with an honest note on which ones turn into a party later on.

Rooftop and high-rise lounges
Legacy Club (60th floor, Circa) is our favourite: indoor and outdoor seating, excellent cocktails and a 21+ crowd. Skyfall at W Las Vegas has the classic long view up the Strip, but it closed on July 20, 2026 for a refresh and is slated to reopen in early October 2026, so confirm first. Ghostbar at the Palms has a 360-degree deck but gets DJ-driven and club-like late.

Circa, 60th floor
Downtown's rooftop lounge on the 60th floor of the adults-only Circa, with indoor and outdoor seating, a strong cocktail list and live music or DJs. The best sunset view downtown.
Tip: Tables need reservations; the bar is first come, first served.
Dress: Upscale nightlife attire; no athleisure or swimwear
Skyfall Lounge
W Las Vegas (64th floor), South Strip
Heads-up: Closed from July 20, 2026 for a refresh, slated to reopen in early October 2026. Confirm it is open before you plan around it.
A 64th-floor lounge with a wide view straight up the Strip. Sunset is the grown-up hour here; DJs play house music later in the night.
Ghostbar
Palms Casino Resort, 55th floor
A 55th-floor lounge with an outdoor deck and 360-degree views. Open-format DJs make it the most club-like place on this list, so it only suits nights when you want to dance a little.
Dinner with a view
Two restaurants give you the view with no nightclub attached: Top of the World, 800-plus feet up and turning a full circle every 80 minutes or so, and the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, whose windows sit right over the Bellagio fountains.

Paris Las Vegas, Center Strip
French fine dining on the 11th floor of the Paris hotel's tower, with window tables looking straight down on the Bellagio fountains. A dependable anniversary pick.
Tip: Ask for a window table when you book and time dinner for sunset.

Views that come with a drink
The High Roller's Happy Half Hour cabin is 21+ with a bartender on board: 30 minutes, one turn, bottomless drinks. Then walk to the Fountains of Bellagio, which are free and best seen from across the boulevard.

One slow 30-minute turn of the observation wheel in a 21+ cabin with an open bar and a bartender on board. A light-hearted way to see the Strip lit up.
Tip: Book ahead for weekend evenings; walk-up prices are higher.
Fountains of Bellagio
Bellagio, Center Strip
The free water-and-music show on Bellagio's lake. After dark the shows run often enough that you can time a walk past it between dinner and a nightcap.
Tip: The view from the Paris side of the boulevard (or from the Eiffel Tower Restaurant) takes in the whole lake.
When to go
- Sunset is the golden hour for every venue on this page: the grown-up crowd, softer music and the Strip lighting up below you.
- In summer, outdoor decks stay hot well after dark; in winter, bring a layer, as desert nights get cold.
- Dress codes at the lounges lean upscale: no athleisure or swimwear.
